CMDA has a long track record of representing those in the sports world. Managing partner Joe Seward currently represents The Detroit Tigers, and numerous CMDA attorneys over the years have represented various athletes.  Among the current athletes for whom CMDA serves as legal counsel (CMDA is not in the agency business but serves as legal counsel) are three men who will be participating in Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa this February: Gabe Watson of The Arizona Cardinals and Larry Foote and LaMarr Woodley of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  All play key roles for their squads. In fact, Woodley set an NFL all-time record in January 2009 with 7.5 sacks in the playoffs.

All three men have been represented by Jim Acho on various matters and all three continue to retain CMDA's services. CMDA wishes all three men good luck and congratulates them on achieving the dream of every football player in America.
