CMDA Partner Jim Conkright of the Firm’s Kansas City, MO office was the moderator and a presenter at the 23rd Annual Medical Device Defense Seminar. The seminar was held June 6-8, 2010 at the Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, South Carolina.

The seminar covered topics such as keeping current with the latest legislations, jury trial innovations and effective defense strategies. The seminar effectively brings together attorneys, manufacturers and insurers in a joint effort to better educate and equip participants in defending medical products liability claims.

In addition to being the moderator, Mr. Conkright gave a presentation to approximately 200 attendees on "Our Legal Heritage."
