On September 9, 2008 Anne McLaughlin and Ken Galica, both partners in our Livonia office, presented a Legal Update seminar to the Law Enforcement Executive Leadership Institute (LEELI) in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
LEELI is a two year training program which has been designed specifically for law enforcement executives. Participants must have the rank of Sergeant or above to attend.
The topics covered during their presentation included: Documentation Retention and Discovery of Electronically Stored Information, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Harassment and Discrimination- An Employment Law Update.
