TRAVERSE CITY – Attorney Haider Kazim of Kalkaska has joined the Traverse City office of Cummings, McClorey, Davis and Acho.
A former partner with Graham, Elsenheimer, Wendling and Kazim, P.C. in Bellaire, Kazim specializes in all matters of municipal law including tax tribunal representation, road law, riparian issues, zoning requirements, plat vacation actions, personal property tax collection issues, ordinance drafting and enforcement, Freedom of Information Act issues, Open Meetings Act issues, and policy drafting and implementation.
“This has been a big summer for CMDA in Traverse City with our new downtown offices and the addition of Haider to our team,” said CMDA Partner Chris Cooke, who heads up the Traverse City office. “His broad expertise and reputation will allow us to significantly increase our service offerings to our clients here.”
Kazim is a 2003 graduate of the Michigan State University School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. John’s University in New York City. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Antrim Bar Association. He also serves as civil counsel for Kalkaska County.
