Summary of Experience
Christopher K. Cooke is a partner in our Traverse City office. He has represented municipal and corporate officials in various labor and employment matters including allegations of workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, Elliot-Larsen Act claims and similar matters. As labor counsel, Mr. Cooke has represented his municipal and corporate clients in contract negotiations, workplace grievance hearings and 312 arbitrations.
Mr. Cooke has developed municipal policies and procedures to assist in employee review and discipline. He has defended these implemented policies in the litigation arena. He has defended Federal and State litigation against a number of municipalities throughout the state.
