Summary of Experience
Kenneth G. Galica is a partner based in the firm’s Livonia office. Mr. Galica’s practice is statewide. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of federal civil rights claims, employment actions based on both federal and state law as well as the defense of governmental entities in tort based litigation. Mr. Galica also has extensive product liability defense experience. He has successfully defended cities, counties, and townships as well as their employees including police officers in multiple categories of litigation.

Mr. Galica is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States Sixth Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He has presented seminars on police liability issues to the FBI National Academy, The Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, The Michigan Sheriff’s Association, and local law enforcement agencies. He has also presented a seminar on expert witness testimony to the Michigan Public Risk Management Association, and a trial demonstration at the annual meeting of the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority.
